As the brand owner of “SF Express”, SF Group applied for the registration of the trademark of “SF Express” in Burma in 2012 and is the legal holder of the right of use of the brand of “SF Express” and its VI. Recently, in Myanmar, we found one third party which is not SF Express authorized partner who is operating express delivery business in areas such as Yangon, Mandalay, Naypyidaw and Myawaddy, whose company name contains “SF”. Moreover, its VI looks highly similar to “SF Express”. Such operation has already caused public confusion, severely infringed on our Company’s legitimate interests and damaged our Company’s business reputation.

To indemnify the vast customers and our Company’s legal rights, statements are made as follows for related issues:

To guarantee the service quality and the Group’s brand and reputation, our Company adopts mode of combination of self-management and agent for overseas business, has strict selection standards on agents and conducts systematic management. Our company only authorizes United Courier Services (UCL for short) with legal license as the partner of our Company and carry out international express delivery businesses in the name of “SF Express” in Myanmar.

In Myanmar, the joint venture KOSPA LIMITED under strategic cooperation between our Company and Yoma Strategic Holdings Limited will work as the business platform of our Company in Burma to gradually promote the businesses such as express delivery, logistics, cold chain transportation and supply chain management.

Our Company will call to legal liability to such as carrying out commercial activities or attempting to confuse brand and services in the name of “SF Express” without legal authorization.
