Service Introduction

Overweight and oversize surcharge: For a single shipment that exceeds the specified weight or volume restrictions according to normal pickup/delivery standards, SF has to invest additional resources or allocate resources in advance for shipment pickup, delivery, and transit. This additional service will generate certain surcharges.

Shipments sent from Chinese Mainland (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) to overseas countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, the US, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia, Canada，Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Venezuela, Suriname, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay, Argentina, Panama, Guatemala, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Britain, Italy, France, Luxembourg, Austria, Czech, Denmark, Spain, Hungary, Ireland, Portugal, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, Turkey, Togo, The Republic of Congo, Ghana, Cameroon, Mali, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, United Arab emirates, Oman, Jordan, Qatar and Israel

Additional 1–3 working days are required based on the reference transit time, depending on the actual situations.

Charging Standards

Overweight and oversize shipments are charged by two levels.

1. Level-1 overweight and oversize surcharge: For overweight and oversize shipments in compliance with level-1 charging standards, a fixed surcharge of CNY260 will be collected for each shipment.

For overweight and oversize shipments of multi-piece shipments with one waybill, collect surcharges only for shipments that meet the overweight and oversize surcharge standards.

2. Level-2 overweight and oversize surcharge: For overweight and oversize shipments in compliance with level-2 charging standards, the surcharge will be collected subject to each case. No fixed rate is set.

Note 1: A single shipment refers to a consignment that is packaged independently and cannot be split into multiple packages.
Note 2: For surcharge standards for flow directions or products that are not covered in the preceding tables, see the weight and size restrictions for a single shipment in the International Shipment Operations Guidelines. Shipments with a weight or size out of the restrictions will not be picked up/delivered.

Note 3: The minimum chargeable weight of each piece of Global Express+ parcel that meet the Level-1 overweight and oversize surcharge is 40kg. If the chargeable weight of each piece is less than 40kg, it will be charged at 40kg. If the shipment is a multiple-shipment, the total chargeable weight should be the sum of the chargeable weight (larger one of actual weight and dimension weight) of each parcel.

Note 4: The charging weight shall be based on the dimension weight measured in the whole process and the minimum charging weight shall be adjusted according to the principle of Hong Chong for weight discrepancy.

The African* countries: Togo, The Republic of Congo, Ghana, Cameroon, Mali, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Egypt, Kenya and Morocco

The Middle East* countries: United Arab emirates, Oman, Jordan, Qatar and Israel

Payment modes
The method of payment is subject to the freight payment mode (paid by shipper, paid by receiver, and paid by third party).
