On October 17th, SF Express teamed up with mobile e-commerce platform Wish to complete the initial testing for its innovative new Fulfillment by Wish (FBW-EU) service. The first batch of FBW shipments from China and the United States recently arrived at SF Express's overseas fulfillment warehouse in Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia. Starting this week, consumers in Europe will be able to enjoy a faster, more convenient shopping experience. Sellers using the FBW service will also be granted preferential placement on the Wish platform.
The SF Express overseas fulfillment/warehousing service has been officially named FBW-EU by Wish, and will be dedicated to providing superior logistics services to merchants and users on the Wish platform. The FBW-EU warehouse is located in Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia, and is designed to serve 11 EU countries. Sellers who have successfully registered on Wish will be eligible to ship their cargo shipments to the FBW-EU warehouse using SF Express's free first-mile pick-up delivery service. After the seller contacts a SF Express customer service representative, the company will arrange a courier to pick up the shipments and utilize its seasoned logistics network to help sellers with the customs clearance and warehousing process. FBW-EU customers will be eligible to receive three months of free warehousing services.
Since its establishment in 2011, Wish has sold a variety of different products to its merchant customers based on end consumers’ information, preferences, and purchasing data, quickly growing into a world-leading mobile e-commerce platform. Cross-border e-commerce has grown rapidly in recent years and led to greater demand for cross-border logistics services. Overseas fulfillment/warehousing services are also becoming more and more popular amongst both sellers and consumers alike.
The FBW-EU project was established to solve key logistical challenges and improve the shopping experience for consumers. Sellers can opt to use the FBW-EU service through Wish’s back office platform. SF Express will then arrange for shipment pick-up, and send the packages to its warehouse in Eastern Europe by air, sea, or road transportation. After European consumers place their orders on Wish, the FBW system will arrange for shipping services to deliver the packages directly to their door, significantly shortening delivery times. To further improve the shopping experience, consumers are also given the option to exchange their gifts in the event that they do not meet expectations.
Sellers using the FBW-EU service will be awarded the following six benefits:
1. Quicker approval for involvement in Wish Express projects;
2. More opportunities to be involved with Wish Express promotions;
3. Worry-free order fulfillment and shipment transport services;
4. No need to pre-pay for warehousing and delivery services;
5. Convenient cargo return delivery services back to China;
6. No VAT (value-added taxes are paid by consumers).
FBW-EU is still under open beta testing, we encourage more merchants to join the test and grow with us together. For more details, please dial SF International's service hotline at 9533883-2, or send an e-mail to overseaswh@sf-express.com to obtain more information on the FBW service.
